Personality
I start from the person and the occasion. A cake should not only look good: it should feel connected to the moment it is made for, to the taste of the person receiving it, and to the memory you want to create.
My story
I was born on the Amalfi Coast and have been living in Switzerland, in Zurich, for a few years. Baking has always been my hobby: a way to slow down, experiment, and bring a little feeling of home into every dessert.
By day I work as a software engineer. Whenever I have some free time, I like switching languages: I leave the code behind and make something... sweet.
This space is where I share the cakes I prepare with care, for special occasions or simply for the joy of bringing something good to the table.
Baking is my favorite way to turn a simple idea into a moment worth remembering.
Stefania Avallone
Software engineer and baking enthusiast

I want to prepare desserts that mean something to the people receiving them: lovely to look at, good to eat, and made with the same care I would use for the people I love. I am not chasing display-case perfection: I care about honest, thoughtful, personal desserts made to be shared.
I start from the person and the occasion. A cake should not only look good: it should feel connected to the moment it is made for, to the taste of the person receiving it, and to the memory you want to create.
I choose simple but careful details, because flavor, texture, and decoration should belong together. I prefer a balanced, clean, thoughtful cake over something dramatic that does not feel sincere.
I like every dessert to carry a little light joy: the kind that makes people smile before the first bite. In the end, a cake works when it is cut, shared, and remembered with pleasure.
